Embedded Everywhere: Designing Better Systems, Faster
Tuesday, September 21 | 9:00AM-4:00PM
This full-day pre-conference symposium on embedded technologies is targeted specifically at engineers who develop embedded systems and work with both hardware and software. The focus is on operating systems, coding, debugging, and testing systems as well as on full stack engineering for connected devices. Attendees will learn techniques and strategies to design better, more reliable and secure embedded systems and discover new concepts, techniques and tools to shave development time and increase performance of their products. They will also hear from engineers who have hard-won knowledge about the trade-offs and challenges associated with any embedded development effort. And what better way to learn, than from other’s mistakes?

Join the Smart Sensor Challenge in Booth 641!
Bring your live analog sensor to PICMG’s Smart Sensor Challenge! At the Integrator Station, plug it into a MicroSAM to transform it into a smart sensor. At the Factory Installation Station, it is added to the distributed smart factory network, which will showcase all the integrated smart sensors controlled by the PICMG IIoT software suite. At the Operations Visualization Station, you can witness the gathering analytics about how the factory is operating and whose sensors have been transformed into Smart Sensors and demonstrating how your sensor plugs and plays with the rest of the infrastructure. PICMG will reward attendes with a MicroSAM IIoT Package to take with you, demonstrating the technologies enables by these open specifications.
